Pascal Duval, Fool's Gold
A Solo Show by Pascal Duval
27.06 - 31.07 2025
We’re surrounded by pressure to chase what glitters. We often choose success, fame, shine over substance. In a time where even real isn't always reality, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters.
Fool’s Gold looks at that pull: the fear of missing out, peer pressure, the need to belong, the lure of false promises. In our pursuit, what is true value, and what is just fool’s gold?
The works draw from memories, timeless fables and pop culture. At the heart of it is an artist choosing his own path filled with uncertainties, fears, dreams and with a desire to escape a sometimes inhuman, superficial, and plastic society.

Join us for a drink at Bisou Gallery for the festive opening of Fool’s Gold, a new solo exhibition by Pascal Duval. The artist will be present.
In Fool’s Gold, Duval explores the tension between illusion and authenticity in a world obsessed with surface and success. We’re constantly tempted by what glitters, fame, validation, the next shiny thing, but what’s real, and what’s just fool’s gold?
Drawing from pop culture, personal memories, and modern fables, Duval charts his own path: one of vulnerability, resistance, and a search for meaning in a polished but often hollow world.
